Air conditioning Felixstowe

Felixstowe is home to the UK's busiest container port and some of the sunniest seafront on the east coast. Both bring something different to air conditioning: coastal homes need equipment that copes with salt air, and port offices and logistics buildings need cooling that keeps working year-round.

Air conditioning by the sea

Salt in the air corrodes the aluminium fins and steel casing of standard outdoor units. Near the seafront we recommend units with factory anti-corrosion coatings, stainless fixings and a position sheltered from the prevailing wind, plus a yearly service that includes washing the outdoor coil.

Around the port, offices, control rooms and comms rooms often run cooling around the clock. We fit and maintain systems designed for that, including duty/standby set-ups for critical rooms.

What we do here

• Coastal-protected home systems
• Seafront flats and apartments
• Port office and comms room cooling
• Servicing with outdoor coil wash
